We had a lovely apartment on the first floor opposite the market. It’s so close to main attractions with a few bar on your door step. The rooms are clean and fully equipped for everything for a long stay. Staff a friendly and available via WhatsApp. Definitely stay here again.

Great apartment in a very good location near the Market. Air conditioning worked brilliantly. Only negative comment is that it could have done with a few more drinking glasses and something to sweep the floor with. Once some sand got in there was no way of getting rid of it.

Upon check-in, we experienced a small hiccup because we had not received any communication from our host, while our travelling companions, who were arriving the following day, had already received theirs. It turned out to be a glitch with Expedia, as our companions had booked through another third-party provider. Fortunately, Alan came to meet us and provided access to our well-appointed apartment. It was equipped with everything we needed to prepare our own breakfasts and other meals. The location was excellent, directly across from Mercado Central, giving us convenient access to groceries as well as the local bars where we enjoyed tapas each evening. Alan also provided a list of recommended restaurants and suggestions for things to do in the area. Although we encountered some rainy weather during our stay, we picked up umbrellas from a nearby Mi Bazar (the closest thing to a dollar store) and made the most of our time exploring the neighbourhood on foot. As Canadians, we're accustomed to sleeping with more than just sheets, so Alan kindly arranged a duvet for us. When it was time to check out, he also organized a taxi to take us to the port for our cruise. This accommodation was so comfortable, affordable, and well-located that we would happily stay here again. It offered a wonderful opportunity to experience life like a local, and everyone we met was incredibly kind and welcoming.
