โQuaint old building with modern facilities. Friendly and welcoming hostelry in a prime position. Breakfast offers wide choice of options and the quality of ingredients was impressive.โ
โThis hotel is a gem! Friendly, helpful staff who really care about yoyr opinion.
Room was lovely. Spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for an overnight stay.
Real bonus was the award winning Raja of Kent restaurant on the same site.
Excellent food and run by the same lovely family.

โBeautiful property that makes visiting sissinghurst a breeze. Dinner options nearby are limited, but if you request the charcuterie plate it is perfect!โ
โWonderful stay. Especially if you want peace and quiet. Lovely location. Victoria was very helpful. Would recommend any of the antipastiโs
Would highly recommend โ
โVery clean and cozy place but if you donโt have a car or a friend who could give you a ride itโs better to use a hotel in the central village. If you drive this is the hotel. Its swimming pool is very nice as well as its garden. โ
โHistoric hotel in a lovely market town. Very clean, reasonably priced, excellent breakfast. Dinner was tasty but perhaps the portion was a bit stingy. Miles is an excellent waiter and all round go-to person. Very personable. โ
โEverything about our stay could not be faulted. Friendly reception on arrival. Told all we needed to know straight away and made to feel very welcome. Separate restaurants as we had our dogs with us and we were the only ones in ours but still were treated very attentively. Good varied menu with several specials on offer. Prices are reasonable and on par with others offering a similar service. Breakfast was a limited offering but still very good.
The character of the hotel is everything. It is...
โNothing to fault here! Friendly and happy staff. Large comfortable room. Lovely gardens & bar. Delicious food. Great location , just 15 walk into Rye.โ
โWe stayied two nights at this hotel
The room on the first nigth was 25 C
The 2rd night it was 28.5 C
So you could not sleep
They have a good night garantie
Asked at front desk
They said to contact the guest relations
Contacted them just to find out that first i did not book with them dirrect
And that the room temp do not fall under the good night because this hotel does not have airco
So what is the point of having a good night garantie โ
โMy son and I had a lovely stay in The Old Borough Arms. Excellent staff, supremely welcoming and friendly. They go above and beyond for their guests. Cozy room, with all you need to have comfortable and enjoyable stay. The highlight: The most delightful breakfast on the terrace! Definitely recommended.โ
