“Our 4 nights at Amritara were the best experience so far in India. The hospitality and friendliness is outstanding. From communicating with the manager to book to the friendly reception we received by Harikrishna to the delicious food Sunny cooked for us twice a day and the lovely housekeeping ladies, this was a highlight for us. The tents are beautiful, decorated with heavy teak furniture, comfortable bed and great balcony chairs, we had huge windows to view the river and the lush landscape....

“The hotel is not worth it they don’t have a proper Resturant the food menu is very very limited , No hot water in the washroom in two night and three days having a shower with hot water is a dream , the air conditioning is like it only worked for one day rest no AC you tell the staff though it was helpful but they could not get the AC dined we were a group and jade about 8 rooms booked all had similar issues , staff is good but the hotel is not worth ₹ 5,200 which I paid. Avoid this hotel. ”

The Place has been tastefully done and some rare historic photographs, both from India and all over the world, adorn the reception area. “The staff was very helpful in arranging taxi service and attending to every request. The restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. If you want alcohol your should bring it with you as it os only accessible at government operated stores. ”

“Good room. Excellent staff. Good view of the waterfall, though not very close. However nice view of the water flowing in front of the resort. Good breakfast spread as well as ala carte options for lunch and dinner. On the whole a very pleasant and refreshing stay.”

“Loved that we saw no other tourists here and in the city walking around. The staff were great and this hotel was well priced as a stopgap between Thekaddey and Kochin. We stayed here to be close to visit the Bird Sanctuary. Walking around town was fascinating and lots of stores giving a glimpse into every day life of locals. ”
