“Returned 40 years later from our 1st stay, when it was in its original ocean front location, to this 2025 stay. Classic, historic, dedicated beach access, lovely grounds, lush landscaping and gardens, and a great vibe. Rocking chairs and porch swings harken back to the good ‘ol days. Wonderful breakfasts by Chef Georgia, with eclectic culinary creations. Just love this ‘old woodie’ hotel in the original classic OBX architectural style.”

“Folly Beach offers a very laid back atmosphere and pace. The Water's Edge Inn reflects that same tranquil feeling with some fun Hawaiian themes. The staff was so welcoming and accommodating. The breakfast and 4pm happy hour/snacks hit the spot. We also like being able to walk to most of the spots in Folly Beach easily from the Inn--hope to stay again.”
