โEverything catered for our needs. Stayed here a few times. Lady in the office exceeded our needs by allowing us last minute to check in way earlier then allocated time for a fee but that was not a problem as we were in a bunder. So thank you Settlers for your assistance. A++โ
โTher Lodge was close to where family live. The staff were excellent. communicate well obliging Parking was good. Disabled facilities were excellent. Ony minor challenge was disabled rooms were in the centre of the building.
A better option would be to have these rooms close to exterior doors. Room doors, while fire retardant were heavy to use. Dining room awaits a new catering team, The Tote had well priced meals easily billed to your room.

โI really enjoyed my stay. The Bucket Tree is very iconic, with colonial style architecture, lovely park-like surroundings and that giant bucket-shaped tree in front. I arrived in the middle of a heavy rainstorm, so really appreciated the warm and cosy room. I had a separate bedroom with a very comfortable bed. Beautiful kitchenette and bathroom. Everything was lovely and clean and the service was great. I stayed for two nights and my room was cleaned each day. Would definitely stay here again....
โI stayed at this property for 9 days and it had everything one needs including a fridge, microwave, oven, sink and every kitchen gadget along with dishes, utensils, and pots and pans. My room was clean and well appointed. My room was essentially a studio apartment. The prices are very reasonable. The staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Green Gables will be my go to stay on my next trip to Lower Hutt, Wellington.โ
