"I loved it here. The staff were brilliant and very friendly. I will defo be booking again. Wanted to stay next week but they are fully booked. Will definitely be there again really soon.
The location is perfect if you love scenery and the tranquil atmosphere is second to none. My 4 yr old also loved it here.
Great leave if you have a pet too. The walks are fantastic. With breath taking views.
You get what you pay for. It’s cheap and cheerful so no point in complain about the decor etc if you book here. Makes no sense in my opinion.

The food in the restaurant was very good and worth staying in for.
The hotel garden backs onto a beautiful park and is a three minute walk to cafes and shops (some of these appear to be shut on Tuesdays, but there were enough open to make a trip worthwhile).
If you have accessibility issues make sure you request a downstairs room as there are no lifts.
There is so much to do in the area; a long weekend is very quickly filled with museums, walks, shopping, cafes, an old abbey (two miles away) and slightly further (six miles), golf. "
