โThere were barking dogs in the room next to ours. When I informed the front desk, the attendant accommodated us by moving us to another larger room at no additional charge. โ
โBoth front desk clerks were friendly and helpful. However, the interior was dingy, the exterior was a total dump, and they seemed to be hosting a Harley convention. Around 15 bikers congregated outside the office entrance and partied late into the night. I was woken numerous times from bikers revving up their engines. I was disappointed and would not return. โ
โWe asked for handicap. We did receive first floor. The air conditioning on high cool when first arrived-9pm. It was cold in room. We turned heat on- there is no regulation on cooling or heating- so then hot in room. The beds are very firm, hard on back.
The breakfast was wonderful all items- scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, waffles, cereal, juices, coffee, etc. That was the very best breakfast served. Area is in a quiet area. โ
โIn an earlier review, I stated that an entry sign for the recessed property was needed. Well, there is one, I just didnโt notice it! Like the locationโclose to Interstate, gas station, good restaurants, a few bars, liquor store, post office. Recently refurbished. โ
โThe property is lovely, and the staff were friendly and kind. The beds and furniture were comfortable. My husband and I were on a short vacation, and had a lovely time.โ
โExceptional staff. They were friendly and helpful. They really care about their guests. Breakfast was excellent as was the pizza we had in the lounge. I really felt at home there.โ
