"Bathrooms have had money spent on them but the cleaning of the showers is not prolonging the look of them. Mattress was comfy but pillows too hard and some lumpy. Food was excellent and bar/restaurant service. Spa area - changing rooms need some TLC, jacuzzi wasn't very warm and chlorine smell was very overpowering. Overall a pleasant stay."

"The views from the bar and restaurant were amazing. The only downside was the layout of the room,we were told it was deluxe suite but it was small,television was not facing us, it was on the side and the plughole in the sink was not very good and water did not go down very quickly. Overall the hotel was fab,especially staff were really nice especially in the restaurant. "

"Enjoyed our stay at the Hex Wildlife Hotel, welcoming staff, clean comfortable room & good choice at the breakfast buffet. "

"Staff were lovely, a number of cobwebs in our room. It would’ve took no more than 10 minutes with a hose of a hoover nozzle to have got them off the ceiling and in the corners of the room, when we push the two single beds together there was also dirt underneath the beds other than that the room was of a reasonably high standard of cleanliness. The bathroom was fine outside areas needed some attention doors to be painted woodwork chipped some windows showing signs of decay. It was also autumn so to be fair the grounds were covered in leaves and there was quite a bit of green moss about. Parts are tired."
