“The property was beautiful and basically in the middle of the woods so dead easy for dog walking - also and outside hose which was really handy considering how muddy it was! It was freezing when we arrived but the heating, once I figured it out was effective. Unfortunately there were no logs or kindling for the fire which would have been beautiful. “We had a lovely stay at Bosun's Chair and would highly recommend it. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the local area and enjoy everything nearby. Our room was beautiful, with cool, stylish décor and a comfortable, welcoming feel. The bathroom was equally impressive, with nice towels and quality toiletries provided. We also appreciated the in-room facilities, including a coffee machine, kettle, tea, hot chocolate and complimentary bottled water. Check-in and check-out were...

“We loved staying at Albert Cottage. It is a unique property with beautiful historical furnishings and design. The breakfasts are wonderful. There is a lovely sitting room where we played cards. It has a nice restaurant. It is an easy walk to the fantastic Osborne House. There were a couple of small plumbing issues due to the age of the building but they were taken care of and not significant. We stayed in many places during our trip to the UK and loved this one in particular.”

“Fantastic. Really need to keep that a secret!”

“It’s so refreshing to wake up to see the view of the Solent on a clear day and the waves lapping on the edges of the beach. The mature trees close to the Beach House truly gave a feeling of well being when one is close to nature. The Beach House holds a history of achievement firstly with the original residents, the Siemens’s family. The staff were friendly & very helpful. Breakfast choices are varied and the cooked option was freshly made. Our room was larger than expected and comfortable....
