Amazing Hotel! Will definitely return

Very convenient, as expected from all the researches and reviews. Close to the main station with access to ALL transportation! Within walking distance to many restaurants on the opposite end of the train station! The hotel has a 24/7 Seven-Eleven Store and many amenities and restaurants.

No frills. Excellent access.

Stayed here on various occasions and at least over 10 nights. Staying here right now too. It is no frills so it’s self check in and you have to pay for basic amenities that are usually available free and business hotels. However I return repeatedly because of its convenient location which is one direct train away from Haneda and Narita. It is overpriced on Saturday nights (doubled on this trip) but usually good value on the other nights.

This was my second time staying at the Shinagawa Prince Hotel. Last year, I stayed in a main tower, and this year I stayed in the east tower. My main reason of choosing Shinagawa Prince Hotel is the ease of access to train system. I use Shinkansen multiple times during my business trip so I like to stay near Shinkanse stations. Room was simple but had 2 lower shelving units which was very helpful organizing my business items and clothing. Main AC is controlled by the hotel so they seem to turn off the AC when it gets colder outside, which means when you turn on AC, it may or maynot produce cold air... Overall, its convenient location is still a huge plus so I'd stay there again!

Good hotel for those who arrive/leave at Haneda

This is the second time I stayed in this hotel. This time I received a message that only self-checkin is available, however it didn’t work for me. Fortunately there was staff to help and everything was done smoothly. Staff is polite and helpful. The hotel is next to JR station, great for anyone who’s flight is at Haneda Airport.

I liked that when they didn’t have my room ready, I was given an upgrade to a different tower on property from the East Tower to the Main Tower. Room was clean, simple, and efficient. Shinagawa Train station was across the street, shopping was nearby, and even by train, the Tokyo Disneyland was 45 mins away! The Aquarium, movie theatre and Bowling Alley, shopping, restaurants and 7/11 convenient store are on property! Great place - highly recommend.

If you are use to clean rooms, DO NOT STAY HERE. The property, what it has to offer, the location are all excellent. The room itself mine as well be considered a motel. I knew the rooms would be small but not dirty, or looking like they haven’t been upgraded in years. If you are of bigger size, don’t bother. It’s so little the iron and ironing boards are in the hallway to share as there isn’t enough space in the room. The carpets look like they’ve never been cleaned and the walls are just nasty.
