We had a nice few days with my husband and mother. However, the adult pool needs cleaning and the food (snacks - ceviche) we ordered in the pool was not what we expected. Perhaps, it is the way they do that in Ixtapan. They exchanged it for another dish but it was not to our taste (meat of Pepito was not of good quality). Other than that, the staff were great. We had an extra bed brought in at no cost. Food in restaurant was great too. Perhaps check if there are still doing renovations when you go as the noise of the drill was a bothersome in the early afternoon when we ate there. It got solved when we moved to eat in the terrace, beautiful sights to the mountains and chant of birds.

Staff excellent, always trying to please you. Property needs a lot of investing (more than 10 years ago I stayed and everything was great at the property). Not many guests this time, I imagine they have a lot to do in marketing to promote the hotel, at the same time they should renovate it (we had to change room due to a lack of AC and 2nd room had a water leak.
