In regard to your comments on car parking - our property has limited onsite car parking and is also located in the busy downtown Toowoomba CBD precinct where parking is also limited and mostly metered. The deal that you booked did not include car parking. This is stated on the website and in the correspondence that is sent out at the time of your reservation being made. Our friendly team are always happy to provide information on the different parking options nearby. They can also assist you to recomment our deals that do include car parking. I can assure you that we have a regular schedule of carpet cleaning throughout our complex. We will be sure to inspect the carpet in this apartment, as well as review our best practices, policies, and procedures.Regarding your comments on decaffeinated tea and baking paper. We do keep a small supply of specialty items that are available through front office. I was naturally disappointed to read that you did not enjoy your stay with us, and particularly saddened that you did not communicate your concerns during your stay, which would have allowed us the opportunity to address your concerns at the time.Having had time to investigate your reservation and stay with us, I wish to clarify several points for others who may be reading this review - Carnival of Flowers is a major event in Toowoomba, attracting over 350,000 people each year. It is an event that fills every available hotel room in the city - our rooms are generally booked to capacity many months in advance. Your reservation was made at 12.41pm on your day of arrival. Your last-minute reservation was made possible due to an unexpected cancellation. You therefore booked one of the last rooms available in Toowoomba on that night. Whilst many of our rooms do boast beautiful views of Queens Park, and we really wish every room in our complex had access to this lovely view, unfortunately this is not physically possible. You were allocated the only room available which did not have a park view.You were not charged to have your vehicle in our car park until 1pm. Our receptionist made an error at the time of your arrival and charged your credit card twice for car parking. This error was picked up by another team member during our night audit process. We made you aware of the error and subsequent refund that same evening when you passed through reception on your way back from your evening out. It is standard practice for our departing guests to utilize our car park after checkout on their day of departure without incurring any extra fees. While I understand that you felt unimportant during your stay, I assure you that every guest is important to us. Our team strives to provide excellent service to all of our guests, and I sincerely apologize if we did not meet your expectations in this regard.

We do offer two areas of secure parking, we suggest the lower level car park for larger vehicles. We have a range of room types available to our guests. You booked our studio rooms that are hotel style rooms. Our larger apartment style accommodation is perfect for families and features a separate bedroom, living area, full kitchen and laundry facilities and a balcony. This offer is sent to Guests on Saturday afternoons so that they are able to claim a relaxed late-checkout on Sunday should it be desired. You stayed in one of our studio rooms , for a longer stays we recommend our fully self contained apartments.
