โHad an absolutely fabulous week at the Parson Woodforde. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming and a credit to Mark and Maria :) The food was incredible, all local produce with lovely fresh seafood specials and all very well seasoned! The roast on Sunday was one of the best Iโve ever had and we were made to feel very welcome and given loads of useful local information, nothing was too much trouble and the rooms were immaculate. โWe stayed for an event at UEA and the location was perfect for this. Setting was beautiful in a small village with a river running through -great for an evening stroll. Our bedroom was very very close to the road which becomes a commuter cut through in the mornings. This did lead to some unwelcome traffic noise from around 530am. โ
โThe room we had, room 4 was superb, large with a window view over looking fields and a view into the distance. Large room very comfortable beds, two wardrobes, tv and every tea and coffee you could want. Breakfast was superb!โ
โOne of the best hotels Iโve stayed at in a long time. Clean, pleasant and stunning to say a few wordsโฆ a star find and something fresh and unique for travellers to try โฆ.. I would recommend this to anyone โฆ 5 stars โ
โ Booked overnight stay following a music event nearby. Booked Riverside Hotel, but they obviously own several properties nearby. Our room was in a converted house up a side road so sadly no Riverside view. Room was very preventable. Needs a net curtain at window to aid privacy, better quality mattresses and pillows. Cleaner needs to look up & dust light fittings. โ
โSuch a well maintained, old hotel in the middle of the most historic part of Norwich. We really appreciated them allowing and being especially kind to our small dogs.โ
