"This was the nicest overall stay of our entire trip in Scotland. We planned it as a break between Skye and Speyside and it exceeded expectations. Robie made sure we were well fed and entertained at the bar. Thanks to all the other staff that checked on us during our stay. "

"Beautiful mansion on the water. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. We didn't have dinner at the hotel. I gave 3 stars for amenities because they don't have a gym or pool or anything like that. There is a bar and a great room to relax and play games or cards in. It was pretty cold when we stayed here so we weren't outside wandering the property much, but we would have if it had been a little nicer out. We didn't have a car so we did have to use prebooked taxis to get to and from the city while we were there. I would recommend this hotel if you want a quiet peaceful place to stay."

"Got to love it when a place outdoes its photos online, this is one of them. My room felt like a little suite and was just a regular double. Beautiful tub that I of course did not use. Easy walk to shops and restaurants and pleasant lovely staff."
