Imagine arriving to your hotel at 3:30 am after long and delayed flights and -16c in Toronto No body at front desk and the phone attendant tell me that the reservation is cancelled and somebody else is in the room. She pulled a “we tried to contact you sir but you did not respond” on me but we all know that is a simple excuse. This is despite my repeated attempts to contact them via Expedia messaging system. So to me this establishment receives a negative rating. Ps I went to 4 hotels and finally found a spot double the price at 5am

Cute property with lots around! The fire alarm would not stop going off every hour at all hours of the night the entire stay unfortunately, not sure if that’s a common thing or not but did not sleep much because of it. Overall decent price for what you get.

I have stayed in a different suite on earlier date. Convenient location. Quiet suite. Amazing view from 29th floor. The curtains are not ideal - if you prefer darkness, bring an eye mask.

Says there is wifi but unfortunately was not available at any point. There were marks all over the walls with hand prints, odour and the balcony was covered with bird feces. The area surrounding isn’t the best area.

We were there two days and the building alarms kept going off. We were advised to exit via stairwell, when we reached the ground floor to exit the building the door was locked! There was about 25 to 30 people trapped in the stairwell! Thank goodness this was not a real fire because i fear we would have died!!

Great place great location, tricky check-in

The apartment condo was great once we got checked in however the check-in process was a little confusing and we got missed messages from the people we called. Anyone staying here has to be aware that it’s not like a hotel check-in you need to use the lockbox and find it yourself and check yourself in and check yourself out and there’s no one really on the property to help, the apartment condo was super comfortable and very beautiful in a great location however, there were a few things that were broken like the lid of the coffee pot and a couple other things that we reported right away. After working through the initial headache and problems getting checked in, it was a fantastic place to stay and would recommend if you can manage the check-in situation.

The location at Jarvis and Dundas is ideal for walking, public transportation and sight seeing. Plenty of coffee, grocery options and shopping within a 10-15 minute walk. It's a quiet unit with fridge, microwave, coffee, washer/dryer, I was able to book last minute. Communication was prompt. I would book this unit again. I had issue with the elevator when trying to leave in the morning. We ended up taking the stairs. The staff at condo said elevator can be an issue. No other issues. I slept well.

Registration and damage deposit instructions were provided only 2-hour prior to check in, despite my effort of calling a couple days in advance. Check in instructions was never sent until I called manager after I arrived at lobby. The concierge cannot check you in. Property was not thoroughly cleaned, fridge had left over items from prior tenant. Dining table had a spill that was dried up and sticky. Chairs and sofa had food crumbs. There are more surprised underneath the removable dining chair seating cushion or dining placemat if you look hard enough! This is not a professional operation. Enjoy!

I arrived to check-in to find an empty lockbox with no key in it. I was reassigned to a different unit that was dirty and not as advertised. The property management ignored my complaints for most of the 2 days of my stay claiming they would get into contact with me. I am still waiting to speak to someone. One of the most frustrating experiences I've ever had travelling.

Lots of missing item

The photo doesn't match with the actual unit. There was full of clothes in dryer, loose tile with opening wall, shower leaks and spray water ceiling and floors of bathroom, wet towel with smell on bathroom, missing light bulb on desk stand. Called management company and they put me hold over 20 minutes and no correction happened. Staff online was not pleasant and raised voice.

Check in says 4pm. Received a call at about 1pm asking me what time I was checking in, so I said I can come in a half hour. They said no sorry can’t be available until 4pm. So 4pm comes and I receive an email saying to check in and here are check in instructions to receive the keys. When I arrive there is no key in the lock box because they are still cleaning upstairs. I call and am told check in is normally 5pm. Even if that was true I did receive a call saying otherwise so why would they even bother calling to tell me the wrong time. They said I could speak to concierge to be let up but they wouldn’t allow me. The place was generally okay and clean enough. Was only there to sleep and that is all. Lots of loud parties in the building. There was not enough toilet paper or any back ups to stock with in the bathroom.

A total mess

I didn't stay there, in the end, though I tried. Arrived to find that their "lockbox system" is actually literally a bunch of real estate type lock boxes in zero order. When I finally called in a panic as I couldn't even find one for my room, they told me the key had been misplaced or not returned and they could "maybe" offer a room in another property (but not close by and I was already extremely late for the event I was in town for in the first place). A semi-security person at the door is polite but can't help. It's been over a week and still awaiting a refund - I require this as they still hold my "over a few hundred dollars" and I had to completely change my entire schedule. They are polite over the phone and via WhatsApp but the whole experience was a mess and I'm still awaiting my refund.
