"This is a fantastic hotel, well worth a stay. I stayed here on a solo vacation but this hotel is in a perfect location for a romantic getaway, just outside of the sleepy Lake Como town of Bellano and a short train ride away from the busier town of Varenna, where there is a ferry to other towns on the lake. I splurged on a lake-view room, which definitely enhanced my stay. The bed was comfortable with a nice selection of pillows. Breakfast was very good with a lot of sweet and savory choices laid out by Francesco. There is a small parking area if you are driving in, as I was. Matteo at the front desk was quite helpful, giving me suggestions for a route that allowed me to visit some small towns above Bellano and do some hiking to fantastic lake views. If you are looking for a quite place to stay with a lot of Italian charm, then you will love this hotel."

"The whole experience was flawless. The property is impeccable down the last blade of grass. Absolutely recommend this place for a stay on the lake. The water access is literally out front for easy on and off boating via their dock. If you’re staying here you also get access to the separate beach club area. The rooms are large and elegant in design staff all super friendly and helpful. We will be back. ."

"Great small hotel. Breakfast every morning overlooking the lake was wonderful. The primary staff who was there was Alice and she was helpful and friendly. A couple things to note is this is about a 15 minute walk into town and 20 minutes to the train. If you have a lot of luggage, consider a taxi, the staff will arrange a taxi, just do that ahead of time. Getting from town to town was easy via the ferry. Great spot to relax after a packed tour of other areas in Italy. The only negative thing I can think of is that our bed wasn't super comfortable and the pillows were small and flat."

"Great communications ahead of our stay, and every member of staff was friendly and helpful. I really cannot compliment them highly enough. We were even shown into the breakfast room early on our last day and were able to take a packed breakfast for our journey. The breakfast was varied, and the restaurant was excellent in the evenings. The service and food were always excellent. The setting is perfect, right on the lake. The parking was handy but we didn't need our car during our stay - it's only a short walk to the pier, where you can catch the ferry a few times a day. Varenna is only 5 minutes away by train and has even more ferry options. Our room (number 2) was maybe a little small but we only used it as a base for few days, so that wasn't an issue. However the walls are very thin, so I hope your neighbours are quieter than ours. We would have no hesitation in staying here again in the future (but in a different room). Thank you to everyone for making our stay so enjoyable."

"Absolutely loved our stay here in Dervio easily the best and cleanest place we stayed during our tour of Northern Italy. The B&B had a great authentic Italian feel to it, full of character and charm rather than feeling overly modern or generic. Location was perfect too, very easy to find, only a short walk from the train station, and then only a few minutes down to the waterfront and lake. Ideal base for exploring the area. The owner was brilliant and made us feel welcome straight away. We were given a welcome pack with maps, recommendations, and the best local places to visit/eat which was a really nice personal touch and made the trip even better. Couldn’t fault the place at all spotless, comfortable, and genuinely felt like a proper Italian stay. Would 100% recommend to anyone visiting Lake Como/Dervio area!"

"Nadia was a fantastic host! We unfortuantely had the worst weather of the month, but it was great to have a large room we didn't feel we wanted to leave. The Private Bathroom was huge, and the shower was AMAZING. As long as you have a car there are plenty of places to visit from here, 45min to Lugano (Switzerland), and its nice to drive around the lake through all the towns. Close to Menaggio, and the greenway walk. Easy to get a ferry to Bellagio, and other towns. The pool is lovely and easy access to the beach and lake, can walk up into the local town in 5min. Private parking. Breakfast was fabulous with a different suprise each day! "
