“This hotel is in a great location. It is within walking distance to Tintagel Castle (Gallos Statue & Merlin's Cave). The hotel experience was great; I received a warm welcome when I checked in at the restaurant/pub up front and they walked me to my room. The room was large and impeccably clean. The bathroom was not in or directly attached to the room, but it was my use only and they provided robes for traversing the 3 feet of hallway between doors. “Great hotel and stay at the Port Gaverne Hotel Our room faced the sea and the bed was super comfy. Great facilities tea and coffee with fresh milk, and the dry robes were a lovely touch. We ate breakfast each morning of our 4 night stay and 2 evening meals Great food and drinks We were able to walk into Port Gaverne which only took around 10/15 minutes We would 100% return Great staff and very friendly ”

“The welcome was amazing, the hotel is the home of the owner who makes a point of greeting his guests. It is a Victorian building of immense character in a stunning position on top of a headland and next to Tintagel Castle. The views are incredible. The room was spacious and comfortable with open sea views. The dining room is majestic and the saloon is comfortable victorian splender. Finally the staff were simply excellent. We had a wonderful experience! Highly recommended!”
