“The rooms were clean, staff is very friendly and aims to please. The lodge offers a simple nice breakfast. Dinner is also available if you confirm - we chose to eat off property. The road to arrive is extremely rough - potholes, less than two lanes at times - but worth it once you arrive. “This property has an incredible view of the volcano and the most amazing trails right on the property. The property is full of wildlife, and we were able to watch spider monkeys swinging from the trees from the balcony of our room, as well as watch a variety of native birds and other native creatures without going anywhere else. My kids enjoyed exploring and were so excited every day to see what new animals they would discover. I just wish we had longer to explore!

“We had an amazing stay and truly enjoyed every moment here. The location is beautiful and surrounded by nature: one of our highlights was watching a family of toucans right in the tree near our accommodation. It made the whole experience feel very special and unforgettable.

“Schönes Zelt mitten im Regenwald. Die Anfahrt war allerdings etwas anstrengend. Deshalb sind wir auch beide Tage dort geblieben und haben vor Ort Wanderungen gemacht oder waren am Pool. Der ist klein, aber sehr hübsch angelegt. Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr gut. Wifi nur im Hauptgebäude. ”

“This is definitely a 3 star resort. Nothing about it gives 5 star so please don’t expect it! The staff were sweet and helpful but I’ll tell you to stay here if you would like average over priced American food 😒, WiFi going out every day, an unclean out dated pool, and hard mango’s for a $10 🙄. My family and I spent our last two days at The Spring Resort & Spa at Arenal. It was definitely worth the Money. “Wonderful simple cabins that are reminiscent of Costa Rica of the past, with very kind helpful hosts. If you’re looking for a quiet clean escape into the cloud forest, this is the place. We were so happy to see all the hummingbirds while we enjoyed the excellent coffee and fresh fruit juice in the morning. “The views are great. Breakfast is fulfilling too. Consider this your lunch. Property is well maintained and very peaceful.the only one thing they can improve is providing clients with a trolly or something to carry bags from parking to their room. As the path leading to the room is all decorative pebbles the bag was heavy for me to carry it all the way to my room. Overall great stay during July 4th weekend.”
