"What a great boutique inn located near UVA and the downtown mall in Charlottesville, VA. It's such a historic inn. The innkeeper keeps an open line of communication with you and the housekeeper does a great job keeping the inn clean and provides you with plenty of amenities. They also provide you with a delicious breakfast each morning at the restaurant attached to the inn. Great location for touring Monticello, wineries, breweries, and distilleries. "

"The setting of the hotel on a hill is very beautiful, lakes, large mature trees, rooms shielded from traffic noise ( especially on the lake side), and spacious rooms. The lobby is well designed. A front/back fireplace provides two areas of quiet and privacy apart from the breakfast and bar area. There are signs of gentle aging - corporate definitely should nurture this one. "
