Tulsa, Oklahoma hotel rooms at the Independent

"The good and the bad of my stay. The good; staff were friendly, the room was clean, and breakfast provided plenty of options. The bad; the room definitely shows the age of the hotel, we had someone walk into our room, surprising us both since we both had keys, and the area was a little questionable. We didn’t unload our valuables until we returned from our night out. Also, our room was near a maintenance room and an exit to the outside. We heard people talking and the door closing all night."

"Very bad smell in hallways and rooms, rooms are definitely not rentable to out of towner’s. It seems to be an extended stay for homeless people or something"

"Room was clean but beds are spring mattresses with few springs and very uncomfortable. Walls and floors are thin so folks walking upstairs really is disturbing. Believe hotel is all wood construction due to the lack of quietness. No fans in bathroom so it is a sauna in the room after showering. No mats for tubs, tubs slick but there was a handle to hold on to. I will not stay here again. "
