I couldn't update my other review, but that's okay, because I have more to say. This place was located in good proximity to my concert destination, Pappy & Harriets. The hotel room was basic. The room appeared pretty clean. The bed was moderately comfortable. This big issues I had with this motel are the noise issues, room location, room 117, and the complete lack of customer service from the front desk guy. Maybe he own the place, I don't know. However, I got zero sleep my first night there due to the fact that there is no carpet, gaps under the doors, and I was put right across from the vending and ice machines, specifically after I had asked for a quiet location. In addition, there was a screaming toddler that woke me up several times during the night, from the room across the hall! That's how mad the lack of privacy/the room insulation is. They second day, my keys stopped working so I was forced tovgo to the office, where the same man (who gave me the bad room location) was working. I explained that keys weren't working and decided to bring up the noise issues. He copped a HUGE attitude, said "it's not MY baby, I can't do anything about it!" Well, it IS your job to treat each guest with respect. He said, like 10 times, I'll give you a full refund and you can go somewhere else!!" After I explained that I don't have the time to move hotels, he kept giving me an attitude. At checkout, he mentioned my bad review & ramped up his aggressive behavior. I won't go back.
