We were on a "quilt shop tour" and loved the quilt shop downtown; also liked the department store downtown. We only had time for those 2 stops on our tour.

Although the hotel is quite old, the beds and pillows are comfortable. The rooms are warm, which is great for cold weather, and the location by Lake Michigan offers a beautiful view.
