“The hotel was very grotty. The room was very small. The ceiling light fitting had exposed wires. The bathroom lino was jagged & torn in places. Very loud vent below bedroom window. Badly decorated & dated. The hot water was boiling(though there was a warning sign) The staff were pleasant though & the room was cleaned every day by friendly ladies.”

“Firstly, location is perfect. Just on the edge of the village and the start of the Llanberis path is right outside, so no driving or parking charges if you intend walking Snowdon on this route. Staff are very friendly and helpful and breakfast was pretty good. However, the building itself could do with some updating and our room was pretty tired in terms of decor. We stayed in the Coach House building so it might not be the same for other rooms but it looked like the last update was a couple...
