“Wonderful location inside the old medieval wall! Steps from the Carnarvon Castle! Nice bar(s) and seating areas inside and out. On the other hand why would they put a senior on the third floor with no elevator?!! Shower drain was clogged but maintenance did fix that after I brought it to their attention. The biggest issue was the unseasonable heat. No A/C in these old hotels and the top floor was unbearable hot. All I had was a small 10 inch fan which was all but useless. Come on guys! Put some...

“Lovely, well maintained Victorian building with staff who go the extra mile to be welcoming and helpful. Parking is available though limited. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with roomy en-suite baths. There is a lot of traffic on the nearby roads, so bring earplugs if you're sensitive to noise.”

“Amazing old building. Must be a nightmare to maintain but it’s full of character and charm with friendly staff. A lot of stairs throughout so probably not for those with disabilities”
