The entire experience was comfortable, relaxing, and memorable. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel very well taken care of throughout our stay. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, and the hotel itself is stunning. We truly enjoyed our time here and would happily recommend JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi to anyone visiting Hanoi. "Suitable budget apartment with very local vibes. Near to a vibrant restaurant street, two large grocery stores and a wonderful lake. Tons of coffee shops around. I had the larger studio with big terrace on the 7th floor. I loved the view and natural light. Couch and coffee table suitable for working. AC worked great even on the hottest days. Great to have in-room washing machine. One-burner stove and kettle were sufficient. Unfortunately, few dishes or cooking stuff; I had to buy plates, pan, cooking knife, spatula etc. Mattress was super thin, almost like a Japanese mat. After stacking 3 comforters on top, bed was workable but not enjoyable. Subpar cleaning, I had to scrub down the bathroom and sink after arrival. Manager is a nice guy, very reasonable. No English spoken but translator was sufficient. This Era aparthotel chain apparently specializes in converting back-alley locations into short-term rental units, many locations all over Hanoi. Note: - the phone numbers on the confirmation email didn't work, so I had no way to contact the hotel before arrival - the higher rooms with balcony get a lot of sunlight early in the morning and the blinds are ineffective; bring a sleep mask - it seems the first floor apartments have windows literally opening up into the garage area, so those will hear every single motorcycle noise - there's a clothes dyer in the garage you can use for 20k per load - There is secure motorcycle parking, free - Elevator works great"

"Quite a dust in room, especially in bedroom around the tv and tv wooden doors on top not touched for long time and drawers in edges too, not a big thing, staff awesome, the receptionist, other staff with very limited English so then end up at the restaurant while on my way to swimming pool, the breakfast is very lovely concept, set up, almost all food great except the pancakes and very strange ham, not edible for European, the danish pastry and croissants were super buttery though 👍👍but in general very nice property, ah and when you try to call hotel, you are transferred to Spanish customer service with no Vietnamese knowledge, so took phone from my gf and used English instead."
