HOWEVER if you do get a first floor duplex, be forewarned, the beds are in a loft one very STEEP flight up- and the bathroom is downstairs and there is no getting a suitcase up the stairs, so if that's a concern, choose a standard room. We did enjoy breakfast at the hotel bar and appreciated the water and coffee while either heading out or arriving back to the hotel. Our room was very clean and comfortable. "This is a great option for staying in Munich. Good value for the money, great staff, easy access to transportation to the city center. One downside is the number of students living at the property - they were a bit noisy on weekend nights. But the staff is great, coffee machines are top notch and the location worked great to explore Munich."
