"Quick and friendly check in! Room was very spacious and comfortable. Dining staff were friendly and service was quick. Breakfast was good! Kids enjoyed the pool. Acess to the beach was easy!"

"Clean room. Right on the beach. Music next door is loud if that is something that bothers you fyi. Pool is small but adequate. There is food and drinks by the pool. Chairs and umbrellas on the beach are for rent which I didn’t know. I saw them in pictures and assumed they were included. Breakfast was normal free hotel fare not great. "

"Our room was clean upon arrival and orderly (more so than in recent hotels we stayed in). We had a partial ocean view and that was great. I thought the pool was nice our family enjoyed it, but there are areas in the pool that need resurfacing (where pool users have to touch). Gates were always an issue not opening properly. Loved the bands when they worked. Staff very very Professional and friendly. I think inside decorated well. I think when walking inside hotel (coverups should be required). String bikinis a bit much in lobby. DJ very unfriendly to specific guests would not play requested songs. Boardwalk partially covered and should be cleared, made it very hard to access the beach. Cafe stay very accommodating. Price for stay, great. Would stay again. "

"I was quite impressed with the hotel, lobby was large and clean, as were the hallways. Room with two queen beds was large, very clean. Continental breakfast was very good, eggs, potatoes, omelettes, tacos, juice and coffee. Pool area was large, good hot tub and the walkway to the beach was well constructed. Beautiful beach area. I would return. "

"I walked in, and it took 5 minutes to get acknowledged, with 5 people behind the counter. Then I was informed of multiple rules that were not stated on the website. Mandatory cash deposit with no working ATMs on the premises. I was told to go to Stripes because there were no exceptions. The website said my check out time was at 11am, but was told I had to be out by 10am regardless of what the website said. After questioning it, they said it wasn’t their fault the website wasn’t updated. Was charged $40 for access to a pool party that I was unaware of, and had no intention of going to. After all was said and done, it took me 50 minutes to check in. Wasting almost an entire day with the check in time being 4pm. I’m not a spring breaker and planed this trip to propose to my now fiancé. The room had no microwave, and had no view of the beach after the website said there was. (The room faced the South, and the ocean is to the East) They were drilling and banging upstairs doing what sounded like renovations from 12pm-5pm. I was okay with the loud music from the pool, but renovations for over 5 hours right above my room? Overall the experience was a disappoint, and will not be spending my money here again."

"Rooms were big and had very cold ACs. The property could use a little remodeling. There was no place for breakfast or coffee in the morning but I think this was because it was the start of Spring Break. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a McDonalds a block away for breakfast"

"Like Always best place to stay in Brownsville. Located in the middle of town with all locations near by. Boca Chica beach and Musk Space Station , south padre island , Harlingen INT Airport, all the great restaurants and shopping centers... and they got Starbucks inside! "
