"This is a no frills hotel- but very clean and extremely friendly and attentive staff. The breakfast was good and the girls working made sure everything remained filled and clean. I’ll be staying again."

"OMG ! I cant even say everything that was wrong at this place! Bad feeling at check in. People ahead and behind me had problems. We had reserved a room with 2 Queen beds. Was given a room with 1 Queen bed. Asked for an extra pillow. We were told there were no more pillows in the hotel! We were told there was a pull out sofa bed in the room. There was one but without a mattress or bedding. My husband was taken to the laundry room where a woman picked up questionable sheets and blankets from the floor and handed them to him in a balled up mess. A woman there told him that the police and fire dept came there often. Amenities?! We were told there would be no coffee or breakfast in the morning. We have to have coffee, so my husband walked across the street to Panera bread and bought 4 coffees. We put them in the fridge for morning planning to heat them up in the microwave. After finally sitting down after a long day of driving and all of the above, R looked at me and said he would not be able to sleep feeling that our vehicle and belongings would not be safe. I was on board! We packed up and got out of there! This was late at night when we prefer not to drive but we got to a much better place. We heard that this place has been sold. I hope the next owners do a good job. Until then beware!"

"The room was clean and spacious. Hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast menu at Salt Line is very limited and the hotel is on the expensive side. That said, if visiting Vassar College, the location can't be beat."

"Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fine. Staff restocked often. The bathroom was clean.The bad news: There seemed to be a homeless element when I circled around back. There were 15-20 people milling around back late afternoon. The ceiling had a huge water stain. There were no linings in the trash buckets. Furniture was stained. There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom so the floors got slippery. The elevators are in an inconvenient place. Too expensive for the location which is extremely noisy."
