"You cannot beat the location. Steps from Piazza San Marco, and a relatively short walk to Ponte de Rialto, and of course great restaurants and shopping all around. The staff was very kind and helpful, and the room itself was great - nicely updated and comfortable. It was an added bonus to have breakfast included, though I would likely eat out if I were to do it again as there are better options. The only thing holding this back from a five star review is the smell, which is tough to get past. It wasn’t noticeable in the room, but once you stepped into the hallway, it was incredibly strong. If you can get past that, it is a wonderful hotel with an exceptional location."

"Hotel was at a great location, half way from train station and St Marks Square. Rooms we had were clean and comfortable bed. Staff were all very helpful, they gave us good recommendations on food and helped booking us a water taxi to airport. Breakfast was good, and the rooftop lounge has a great view of the canal. Overall we had a great stay and would stay here again."

"I booked in the annex building and was assigned to Room 509. I am 5’ll” in height and kept hitting my head on the room’s ceiling beams. Not sure if all the rooms are all the same. Other than that, the location is perfect and centrally located in Venice, the hotel staff are great, and the hotel is very clean. "

"Lovely bedroom, we upgraded to a canal view, which was well worth it and had a small balcony over looking the canal basin where to gondolas park at night. Staff super helpful. Bed very comfortable. The location was perfect, just off St Marks Square, making getting the Alilaguna Water bus to/from the airport super easy. Breakfast plentiful. Great stay. "

"Great location is the top Comment. Very close to stop in water bus (vaporetto) and a quick walk to St. Mark’s square (in a nearly straight line for the directionally challenged. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and had all the basics. Church bells ring nearby which is part of the Venice experience so just be aware. Good selection at breakfast but room is very crammed at peak (around 8). Sadly a few very rude guests but staff maintained composure. "
