"The staff at the front desk and those in the restaurant really go above and beyond to help. Upon check in I had a few requests which were immediately heard and taken care of beyond my requests. At the restaurant our waitress was so thoughtful and accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel."

"We stayed at the Vernon Lodge 50 years ago during our honeymoon, and it hasn't lost any of its luster. Rooms are fresh and up to date, bed was comfortable. Staff was good except while I was pulling the car up to the front while checking out, my wife was struggling a little with the luggage trolley - two men at the desk but no one offered to help."

"We loved our stay here. Nice quiet hotel with lots of room for our family of four. The pool was closed for the season but the hot tub was open and was We liked that it was out of the city but close enough to enjoy all the amenities still. "

"Enjoyed our stay here! It was super relaxing. The only thing though was we found a mouse in our room the last day and maybe because we had take out in our room. This was bothersome but thankfully on our way to checking out. The complimentary breakfast was so good! Some of the staff were not friendly and seemed rushed with poor customer service skills but that’s more of a comfort thing for us. The beds were really uncomfortable and beautiful views from our room! We loved the tub near the window — it was so relaxing. They also provided us with complimentary bath salt which was a nice surprise. The amenities were great! The spa areas were so good — best spa I have been to. Not a lot of restaurants nearby so the food in the restaurant in the building was expensive and one down the hill from us at the other hotel. Only two walkable restaurants — otherwise have to drive into town (more of a preference thing). Lovely walk around with nice views and nature. Would recommend staying here! "
