"Hilton Capitol Hill is a DC Gem What in my mind really sets Hilton Capitol Hill apart from any other hotel is the Exceptional Service of all the staff. The first night I stayed in a room that was awesome but for some reason the mattress felt a little hard. Within an hour of expressing my concern, a manager personally reached out. And the manager did not just apologize but ensured that robust action was taken to resolve my concerns. By the time I finished breakfast, they had transitioned me into a new room with a mattress that was the perfect. When staying in a hotel there is nothing better than knowing that you have a hotel staff behind you that treats you with sincerity and respect. A staff that if something is not right, they solve the problem with a level of grace, kindness, and excellence in hospitality. Such excellence was displayed to me when the staff solved this mattress issue that I had when I stayed there. This exceptional customer service distinguishes Hilton Capitol Hil I believe from our hotels in DC. "The hotel itself very clean and stuff very friendly. Great location, however we did not get room cleaning. When I called around 7pm with the concern they said they will send the service right away. We left and when came back to find out only the towels were left next to the sink. We did not get any regular service like replenishing coffee, emptying garbage or making the bed. In addition we were looking forward to room service however it was unavailable for staffing reasons. We cannot help but feel we were short changed in our experience at Arlo hotel. "

" It was very difficult to locate this hotel. The AC unit was extremely noisy, and to make matters worse, they placed us directly below the dining area. Guests started making loud noises early in the morning, waking us up at 6 AM. Overall, a very frustrating experience."

"Overall it was not the worse ever, there just a few things that need to be adjusted. Such as the ice and microwave only being available in the lobby while there is over 15 floors in the hotel. Also before assigning a room check to make sure all of the items are working, such as the bed lights and the room phone. There was an issue with the water being cold it did take a minute for the temperature to warm but the staff was also helpful is making sure the issue was resolved. "

"This hotel is convenient to NOTHING. It is also quite old. The rooms were decent, though the bathrooms were not great. The worst was the mouse running across the conference center. Wouldn’t recommend."
