"We are extremely disappointed with this stay, especially as returning guests who previously had much better experiences. Unfortunately, the hotel has clearly gone downhill and no longer reflects a 5-star standard.The room was poorly cleaned with dust throughout, a dirty bathroom, cigarette butts on the balcony, and a strong smell of smoke despite requesting a non-smoking room. This is completely unacceptable. Room service was also poor, with missing items and cold, low-quality food. Breakfast was disorganised and frustrating — staff were unhelpful, coffee repeatedly had to be requested as it was not available at the buffet, and service in general was extremely slow. We also asked several times for tea and coffee, but it took far too long to arrive. Although I specifically asked for gluten-free bread, none ever arrived, and when we asked if there was any fresh gluten-free bread or pastries available, none were provided. We travel frequently, and this is the first time we have stayed in a 5-star hotel where there were no fresh gluten-free products available at all, apart from a few sealed processed items. This is far below expected standards. The hotel also states it is pet friendly, however dogs are not allowed in the restaurants, which was disappointing. As a result, we had to find nearby dog-friendly restaurants instead. Public areas were overcrowded and noisy, particularly the pool, with little control from staff. "Firstly the view from our Lake View Suite (room 311) was breathtaking 🙌. The location was perfect, walkable to restaurants, shopping, bars, ferries, supermarket (Carrefours) and the village centre. It is a 10 euro cab ride from the train station. Our room was massive with a comfortable bed with beautiful linen and toiletries provided. It had a kitchenette which was only really suitable for basic cooking or reheating, however there are a billion restaurants to eat at close by. Just be aware if you book via Expedia, they do not mention, there is a 70 euro charge for using the kitchen if you stay less than 5 days (never seen that before!). We raised this with them and they were happy to waive the cost as we stayed 4 nights. The staff were absolutely amazing and nothing was too much trouble. It was a shame there wasn’t a coffee machine (unusual for Italy) or toaster in the room. However, all said and done, we highly recommend this gorgeous accommodation and will be back 🙏😊"

"The service was spectacular. Barbara attended to us personally. Breakfast included freshly brewed coffee with different types of bread with jam, butter, and hazelnut spread, as well as a plate of granola with yogurt—a wonderful way to start the day. One evening we had dinner there; the house wine was spectacular, and the lasagna was delicious. Thank you for all Barbara. Greetings from Mexico."

"The breakfasts are anazing, the room is nice, but a weird shape. The view is great, especially at the sunny and a bit if clouds weather. The heating is AC, so it takes time to warm up te room, the water takes quite some time to heat (3-5 min of cold water before hot water arrives). The bad is a nice size, nut for my 1.9 meters it was barely enough if I use a small pillow. So beds must be 1.9-2m, yake it into account. Atllthough, it is wide wnough to fit me diagonally + my loved one."

"The dining room was poor. No one smiled!! Non-attentive, had to waive down staff for more of anything. Noises heard through walls. Heating that you couldn’t change made it difficult to sleep. Non intuitive thermostat. Bar staff were exceptional. All in all, a 3 in my book. "
