Please make sure your guest decal is showing my vehicle was towed same night of check in staff didn’t check that my vehicle was registered there and I was parked in the correct parking lot it made the rest of my stay very inconvenient spent the afternoon getting my vehicle back from tow yard and looking for a parking space when I got my vehicle back the parking is across the street from hotel and it was completely full stayed close to my vehicle because of NO Parking crowded and definitely didn’t want to get towed again when I finally returned to my room 1030 at night tv work went to the front desk for assistance she said help was gone went to sit on balcony part of the chair was broken the hotel could use a lot of upgrades only one elevator needs couple more for the amount of guest that stays there and spray for roach the staff was very friendly Andrew and Jean were excellent and exceptionally kind went beyond to make the rest of my night ok other than that the property is perfect location for oceanfront

The location of this hotel is great. It’s beachfront, and you have a great ocean view. The staff is friendly and helpful. However, this property was very costly for what you’re getting. The rooms are a nice size but very basic in terms of quality and amenities.

The parking being a block over was a hassle. They had sand all around the pool and in it. Wouldn't restock towels by the pool. The towels in the room were dirty and the shower walls are stained brown. There is no mirrors inside the bathroom. No closet. Wobbly furniture. Hand no bar soap extra. The shampoo and lotion barely came out of the bottles and there was barely any shower water pressure. I don't plan on coming back here.

We enjoyed our stay, the room was spacious and comfortable. The location was great and we liked all of the restaurants and things to do around the hotel. Some things that could have been improved were a towel rack or hooks in the bathroom, a larger nightstand. Overall, it was a good experience and a great price!!

I like the hotel location and its ocean view from the room. 3 things we think they can be improved: The water pressure from the shower head was too low. the moldy smell in the hall ways and the ice maker and vending machine were located on the 3rd floor hallway outside the rooms, we were awakened by the guests using ice machine a few times while we're sleeping at night... not pleasant.

PROS: spacious waterfront room; firm queen-size beds; soap and shampoo and conditioner provided (in dispensers on wall); great location steps from beach CONS: check-in took over an hour (they need more than one person at the desk); one (very very slow) elevator; finally got to 6th floor and room key did not work; took stairs back down to registration (loooong line); the water machine in lobby was out of order; the ice machine works but there is no ice bucket in your room (so had to use a coffee cup from lobby); parking is included but is is off-site and very tight (if you have a van/truck - good luck); water pressure in shower very weak OTHER: the public showers on 18th St are not working (they've been sealed off - so I'm guessing it's not a temporary out-of-order situation), so it's impossible to rinse off before returning to hotel unless you want to go through lobby, walk to the pool, find the outdoor shower in the far corner; there is a public parking deck right next door to the hotel - would be nice if the hotel offered complimentary parking at that location

Nice pool and good location. Rooms are run down and need many repairs. Elevator is extremely slow and used by housekeeping and staff. Always a line there. Broken fire alarm, shower leaks terribly, plug-ins filled with what looked like putty and couldn’t be used. Broken toilet paper holder. Stained chairs. Gap around the door.

Establishment was filthy, very dated, nothing like pictures, one elevator for staff & guests causing extremely long wait times. Porch stained and wet from AC. Shower soaked entire bathroom floor.

We had paid for two nights booked for this hotel. Came to check in, showed our reservation and no problem. Then, after the first night we went out only to come back to all our belongings being taken out of our room. We are then told that supposedly our reservation was only for one night, our room had been given to someone else, and they have no other rooms because they are “fully booked now”. The people at the desk were horrible and not helpful, did not say anything about this at check in and still tried to charge us for 2 nights!

Based my selection on reviews only! What a mistake! There is nothing resort about Aqua Vista Resort Hotel. It should be label Hotel! Stairs smell like urine, room phone didn’t work even to call 911, sand still in the shower, fridge didn’t work, door to balcony had no handle didn’t shut, air don’t work half of the time, the lamp had a shirt on it, tv remote didn’t work properly sound would be at 100 when I turn it on and it took almost 10 mins for the remote work as if it was a delay felt bad because it was early and it was so loud! Manager on site was not helpful with trying compensate me. Basically, he didn’t care as long as he fixed the problem. Which I spent most of my stay trying to get fixed. He promises to assist with compensating me but he never called back and left work. Act as if I was the problem with this 1970 room. Pictures are deceiving. Old and needs to updated. Dusty and smells. 250+ a night what a waste of money. I could go on and on. If you want to waste your money on a place that calls that uses the name resort to reel u in then go right ahead! I will be contacting there corporate office.

Hotel wasnt the cleanest, parking was ridiculous beware your parking down the road from your hotel and walking back mean while theyll rent a room to you with 7 people 4 of which were adults and give you one parking pass its 35 per a day for another car even though your booking including them. The hotel is subpar clean and our rooms were dirty to the point i went and bought my own cleaning supplies. Lets not forget the side doors were broke so to access outside you walked all the way around the building

Whenever I go to VA beach, this is the first hotel I look into. The location is very convenient. It's pretty much in walking distance to everything. The only thing that would make this place better is the parking. If they're aren't any handicap parking available (which is only 3 spots) you'll have to walk from across the street behind other stores for a spot. Other than that I loved the renovations. And the pricing is perfect. My go to hotel for every trip.

The only thing good about this property is the view. The hotel is not clean. The parking is dangerous. The rooms don't have comforters or cups. Service is terrible. You have to wait at the elevator because they only have one. There is no free breakfast. The staff is not customer friendly. Overall a nasty place.

While we were there the front desk gave our room key to another guest who had the “same last name”. They never checked their ID or confirmation who the reservation was under. So a grown adults walked in while my teenage was getting out of the shower. When I brought it to their attention of what happened I got nothing. We ended up leaving early due to this and I was charged for the rest of my stay. I called the next day and lm for the general manager. Was told he would refund my 2 night and I still have not seen that refund.
