“We arrived late but the staff was very helpful and accommodating. Although there is limited parking we still were able to find parking in the lot or close by. Hotel is close to the shops and great restaurants which made the stay even better! Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and the fridge worked perfectly. “My husband and I always stay at Schooner whenever we visit Virginia Beach. The view from the room balcony is stunning and we enjoy the beautiful sunrise and sunsets. The room has a little kitchenette which is very convenient with plates, cups, bowls and silverware. There’s also a coffeemaker and microwave. “Rooms were clean bedding was comfortable. Elevators needed some attention but nothing crazy. Just wanted to let you know a couple of things from my stay. The ice machines were actually broken, so you had to pop downstairs to the bar if you needed ice. The pool was pretty nice though! We did notice that the towels didn't get replaced super often, so you might need to ask for fresh ones. Overall, it was a good stay, and I'd totally stay there again!”

“A crab crawled out of the sink drain, the shower handle was broken but maintenance fix that right away, there was sand all over the floor. We didn’t have any shower towels and toilet paper used to where it was almost gone. The front desk was very hospitable and helped get clean towels and fresh toilet paper.”

“Having a full kitchen made such a difference with my picky grandchildren. We were able to shop near by, prepare meals we enjoy and avoid the mediocre overpriced tourist food experience. They enjoyed the indoor pool when it was raining and we couldn't be on the beach!”
