"Stayed three nights with the family. Location was awesome as it’s near everything such as eateries and shops. The property itself is nice. We had a room on the 9th fooor and has a beautiful ocean view. We didn’t eat at the Hemingway resteraunt. The room was nice and the AC was comfortable. Shower had hot water. The one issue we had is housekeeping made one of our beds but not the other. When I asked the woman at the front desk if they can make the other bed, she said not a problem and sorry about that. However when we came back in the evening, the bed was not made and we were extremely dissapointed that they not only didn’t make it the first time but were lied to the second time. Parking was around 26.50 a day valet and breakfast had a fee each day that was similar. We didn’t even eat the breakfast due to the charge. They would be a much more attractive hotel on the oceanfront if parking was included and breakfast. However it’s all about making money so I understand it. All in all it was a good stay here."

"Nice place, beautiful views from the balcony. Only 2 elevators in the building so sometimes it can get packed or you’ll have to wait for the next one, but overall great stay."

"Hotel desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Overall great hotel and location. There apparently was a towel shortage, we had 4 people booked in our room and they only gave us 3 towels, the maid refused to give us more. When we were checking out a male employee was cleaning the lobby area after breakfast by sweeping the table tops with a broom that he was also sweeping the floor with. That was a very disgusting site."

"My son and I had a wonderful stay! The location was absolutely perfect — Harris Teeter is close by, with a 7-Eleven and Subway right next door, and it’s only about a 5-minute walk to the beach and main strip. We really enjoyed the pool, and the staff at check-in were incredibly sweet and welcoming. The outside of the property has a few areas that look a little worn, but our room seemed to have had a great recent refresh. It was clean, comfortable, and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. My one complaint: the pillows were terrible! Definitely bring your own if you’re particular about pillows. I only wish the rooms had sofa beds, because I would happily come back with our whole family. Overall, this was a great stay for my son and me — comfortable, friendly, convenient, and an excellent location for enjoying Virginia Beach. We’d definitely stay again."
