"First, there was a $250 deposit, which was more than expected for a 2 night stay. It was returned within 48 hours of checkout. The staff was nice. The room had cheap wicker furniture and beds were more like cots. The upstairs room we were in had a huge roof slant and had to duck to use the bathroom and sleep with my head towards the headboard to fit. "We were pleasantly surprised by our stay! We normally stay at an oceanfront hotel, but our trip was planned last minute and they were sold out. We loved everything about our experience! The amenities are perfect—pool, gym, cabanas, restaurant, parking garage, lobby space, gift shop, and Starbucks. The bay water is refreshing, not freezing cold like the ocean or icky warm like some lakes. And no big waves to worry about, with a bonus knowing that riptides occur less frequently on the bay side. The rooms are very spacious! Friendly staff, always saw the cleaning crew working round the clock…our whole experience exceeded our expectations!"
