"Took a very impromptu mini get away in Virgina Beach and this place was phenomenal for the price. We had an incredible beach view from an updated 1 bedroom apartment style room. Comfy beds with incredible beach access. Has an indoor pool and fitness center inside the hotel. Everything is secure so you’ll need your key cards to get in and sour of the hotel at all times. Plenty of food all around to choose from no matter what your budget is. Our room had a full fridge and stove so you could bring your own food if you wanted. Located right on the beach and onsite parking makes it a premier location. It’s very close to everything you’d want from the beach and easy to get in and out if you wanted to drive somewhere."

"The home is quite charming, clean and efficient. Location was great! Just an fyi. If you’re planning an overnight stay, be prepared to carry all of your luggage . No cart rentals until may . No way to explore the island . Would be a great idea if the house offered a bike rental or cart rental to guests."

"We had stayed at Ocean Sands Resort several times in the past 15-20 years. Units are beginning to look very ran down and dirty. Balcony is nice size but it also needed cleaned. Thick dust on the ceiling fan, carpet and floor tiles were both stained. Refrigerator had scratches and dents on the outside. Unit was a good price and the staff was friendly and helpful but we will definitely stay somewhere else on our next visit to VB."
