"The hotel was clean but could use updating, the staff were very helpful and accommodating when my husband lost his door key. The elevators sounded like they were going to fall apart at any time, that had me shook for real and the breakfast was ok, could have been a little more to it. But, you get what you paid for. They put an unexpected hold of $246 on my card and did not tell me about it, communication about the charges can be clearer. Overall, I would stay here again for no more than a weekend (2 day) getaway but it definitely wouldn't be my first choice."

"My family and i took a short 48 hour weekend trip to Virginia Beach. This was my first time ever going to Virginia Beach as well as my toddlers first experience of the beach. We had a wonderful stay at the Hampton inn. The rooms were clean but of course i still did my own additional cleaning however i did not find anything outrageously dirty. The breakfast was ok, we mainly had waffles and cereal every morning. Overall i give the hotel a 9/10. The indoor pool was the only thing we did not like. We will be staying here again in the future"
