Pros: close to the beach and very nice staff (Small) Cons: we had a cockroach appear in our toilet the first night (seems to be common in the area, we saw others in the streets and some restaurants). To their credit the receptionist was very apollogetic, come over and tried her best to get rid of it. We were also moved to a different room the next day (we arrived late the 1st night, they were fully booked) and were offered a later check out and complementary water during our stay. I am unsure whether we were given an upgrade when we moved rooms but in any case the rooms at the front of the hotel are a bit bigger and seem a bit better kept.

Good location

This is one of many budget accommodations near the beach for swimming. The room looks new but I killed a small cockroach as soon as I entered the room. Otherwise it was clean like the bedding, bathroom etc. The bathroom is small. The price is cheap so I think it is good value for money. However the listed price at the hotel on promotion seems cheaper than on line and I guess you can get a bargain by dealing with the owner if you speak Vietnamese.

Located next to the beach, the hotel offer a good price / quality ratio. There is no restaurant in the hotel itself, but plenty to find around. Clean and quite sacious rooms. At least one receptionist could speak english. She was helpful.

Clean hotel room for very affordable price

The hotel did not provide free drinking water or coffee/tea but I paid very little for this hotel so I don't expect much. You can still request for kettle and cups if you want to make drinks. Room is pretty clean and spacious. Location is good as I can walk to the Front beach (Bai Sau) within 2 minutes and can just come back to the hotel for shower after having a nice dip at the beach. There are couple of local restaurants nearby and Circle K convenient shop is just a couple of steps away. Some of the Vung Tau tourist attractions (e.g. Jesus Christ's statue, Front Beach (Bai Truoc)) are about 2km away so you can either walk there or get a taxi. Other places like White Palace will require to take a taxi.

sleepless night

The location is fairly good and the hotel is fine for the budget. This can't make up for the fact that I did not sleep so much, for the staff was speaking so loudly together the whole night in the lobby. When I tried to call the lobby the person didn't understand English and hung up the phone.
