"Great property, was a good experience being able to stay in a more traditional home away from big hotels and further from the tourist areas of Jiufen. The home was fully stocked with everything we needed and the extra food and drinks were appreciated. The only issue we had was that the location on Google Maps was not accurate and we got lost trying to find it the first time; however afterwards we realized it was actually in a great spot not too far from the Old Street. "Staff is very helpful to help settle down into the room and readily come over when help is needed. Allows early check in once the room is ready. Comfortable bed."

"Okay walking distance from the train station, but check-in was terrible. I didn’t receive any details until standing outside on a rainy day trying to figure out how to call a local phone number, which was eventually answered by someone who only speaks Chinese. After an awkward minute on the phone they hung up, but a few minutes later I finally got instructions on how to get inside.
The staircase inside is very tight and carrying suitcases up is quite difficult. Once inside, the room is clean...

"Cute and cosy! Really convenient little place to stay with a lovely comfortable room. The views were great and location just a stone throw from the main areas. Seemed like one of the best places to stay in the area. The room is spacious and quiet - we really enjoyed the bathtub with a view of the mountains and the little balcony offers amazing views too. "

"Great place to stay with an awesome breakfast every morning! The staff were all very kind. Definitely a hike to get to so be prepared to climb, but overall I really enjoyed my stay here."

"Our family had a truly wonderful experience at Grand Hyatt Taipei. From the moment we arrived, the friendly, helpful, and responsive staff made us feel completely at ease. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality stood out throughout our stay.
The room was spacious and comfortable, providing plenty of space for our family to relax. We especially appreciated how attentive the staff were to accommodating small children — it made a big difference in helping us feel welcome and supported.
The hotel’s location is fantastic, with convenient sky bridges connecting directly to nearby malls, making shopping and dining incredibly easy and enjoyable.
We’re already looking forward to our next visit and will gladly recommend Grand Hyatt Taipei to friends and family traveling to Taiwan!
