“We had a wonderful experience at The Mortimer’s Arms. If you are visiting Paultons Park/Peppa Pig World, the location is unbeatable (within walking distance). The hotel is exceptionally dog-friendly. They provided a water bowl, treats, and a toy for our dog, which was such a lovely gesture. “The staff were friendly and very welcoming. The room was really clean and well equipped. Breakfast was busy and some items were in short supply...but this was due to a late delivery. The staff were very apologetic about this. Gluten free bread was provided for us...all done with a smile! The hotel was easy to find and within easy reach of Southampton port...we definitely stay here again.”

“Excellent stay at the Chequers Inn again for a week for the New Year. Beautiful room, good food, clean, lovely staff - shout out to Angela who went above & beyond for us! Lovely compassionate email sent to us following the very sad death of my Dad whilst we were away. Only downside - the bar closed at 10:30pm on New Years Eve! We will definitely return.”

“On arrival our room was upgraded to a large seaview room with a walk in shower which was a very nice welcome. The Pump room bar is excellent with a cozy atmosphere. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food both at breakfast and in the evening venues is top notch. Dining is a particular highlight which should not be missed with a very good menu expertly prepared and served to a really high standard. ”

“My stay here was an amazing experience. The restaurant offered service on par with what you would expect from a hotel, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and made a lasting impression. While the cleanliness of the room and the lack of transportation options could be considered minor downsides, the room quality was still reasonable given the price. Since I was already aware of the isolated location, it wasn't an issue for me.”
