“Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff were really nice. Went to the store to buy Breakfast food for my kids. There was only instant oatmeal and cereal. My kids said the cereal tasted stale. But overall it was decent and did was just fine for our weekend visit ”

“While the location is perfect the lodge itself needs work. It needs updating and a refreshed clean look. The lounge chairs in the lobby are extremely worn and the warm inviting picture on line is no match to the dingy look. The room felt dark and the bed mattress saggy. Cleaning fine.No hot shower due to multiple fuses blowing. Drippy faucet. Night 2 a breaker went. “The place was packed due to a concert at MAC. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The bed and pillows were awesome. It was the best night's sleep I had all week (our Airbnb had a very firm/uncomfortable bed ) on this overnight stop towards home. They did run out of biscuits at breakfast due to the crowd from the concert, but I improvised with gravy on toast. ”

“Breakfast was great, staff was awesome. My only fault to the property was that we booked this hotel for the indoor pool access and it was closed unfortunately with littles you definitely want to be told this ahead of time. I woild have rebooked somewhere different had i known. ”

“The front desk was kind enough to get me a refund when I couldn’t stand the smoking room that was accidentally booked for me…he tried to find me a nonsmoking room….but there is absolutely nothing good about the rooms. Just save yourself the effort. Don’t go here!”

“Stay was okay. Building was clean and everything worked well. Location was much further from red river gorge than expected, about 45 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes one way to a trail. Bed was very hard. Hot tub was nice. Overall, decent if you dont mind the sleeping conditions and the drive but for us it wasnt worth the cost ”
