“Room is very basic. Breakfast is basic. Nice chef though, came specially to apologise for the limited options. In general the B&B is overrated extremely overpriced. Not happy at all that I booked it”

“정말 엄지척! 최고의 숙박시설이였다. 2주간 우리 가족이 머문 숙박시설중 가장 넓고 친절했으며 먼키스트 캐슬의 여러 시설들을 방문할 수 있는 입장권까지 제공 받아 예상치 않게 부엉이쇼와 성, 정원들을 둘러볼수 있어서 정말 좋았다. 거기에 전설의 귀곡 성의 이야기까지....최고최고”

“Returning to this historic hotel for a third visit was just as enjoyable as ever. Although my room was smaller this time, it was still beautifully maintained and very comfortable. I was especially grateful to be allowed an early check-in at no extra cost, which made my trip even more relaxing. The food remains outstanding, and the staff continue to provide a genuinely warm, friendly, and helpful service throughout. I was in Whitehaven for an event over the early May bank holiday weekend, but...

“Easy self check in. The room was very spacious with full bathroom and toiletries. Also had a hairdryer. The breakfast was excellent 👌 with plenty of choice which you ordered the night before. Staff were helpful and restocked the breakfast table with fruit, juice and yoghurt. I loved the fact that there were mugs on the tables, depicting the Wainwrights! Nice touch. Parking was a bit tight if you returned late, but for one night, it was fine. Would definitely stay again!”

“Amazing location and amazing hotel. We loved our stay however it could do with some refurbishment. It is a dog friendly place so maybe could do with a deep clean in the restaurant area. The food was good but all the dog hair everywhere was a bit unpleasant. However we would still come back.”

“Kettle in room was dirty brown yellowy in the bottom asked for it to be cleaned to be told it had been cleaned so was unable to make a brew in the room. Breakfast was ok although fried egg was not cooked properly very snotty. Boiled eggs uncooked today. The woman had bad attitude the way she spoke to guest blunt and rude. Would not stay here again.”
