โI wanted to a surprise night for my husband and treat him on my dime. I love this place and it was affordable for me and we had a nice time. Thank you. People at front desk at both Poland Spring Inn and Resort were sweet and helpful. I am new at doing all this stuff on my own,, Very satisfied. Shower was amazing, so powerful and room was nice and pillows were comfy as well, I appreciated the extra blanket available too.โ
โWhat a lovely spot! Great view, great amenities and friendly staff. We stayed in the South part along the road - itโs an older motor in style building but has nice updates
We really appreciated the cafe on site - had a delicious freshly prepared and healthy breakfast, enjoyed coffee and views from the dock. Lovely spot to swim and paddle!
Itโs clear that the owners really care and want to provide a nice spot for vacationers

โThis has been our favorite hotel of the Sunday River area. We went in August and they had the pool at probably 94F, easy to walk in and relax for a while. Each night they had a nice diy drink setup with instructions. Each night the outdoor fire place was going - one night was marshmallows to roast.. the other night full on smores. Internet was fast. โMy friend and I had a short but wonderful stay at Greenwood Manor Inn while in the area for a wedding. Everything was lovely from our clean and comfortable room to the delicious breakfast out on the porch overlooking the picturesque gardens. Jill was very welcoming. We definitely plan to go back!โ
โOne of the best hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. Dining at the casino was of great quality. More wait staff is needed for how busy the restaurant gets. The casino does plenty of business and should consider adding more tables for table games. โ
โWe absolutely loved almost everything about our stay! We loved the historic, boutique feel of the hotel, the beautiful registration area, the fitness center, the tavern, the room, the hallways even with the old pictures, the beautiful setting, the cute little town, and nearby playground and skatepark. Road out front was yuck. Parking was problematic as big trucks/SUVs were parked close together. Made it hard for us to move our car. Also, the old median strip is a hazard. โ
โI stayed in the "tree top"building at the right rear of the property. It is well maintained, very clean, and has lots of hot water with good pressure for the shower. Comfortable queen bed. Plenty of blankets, towels, tissue paper, coffee maker, etc.
I do have two minor complaints:
Room #6 had an additional bunk bed with a angled 2"X6" leg that stuck out quite a ways. As such it is a "toe stubber," that got my right foot twice. Ow! :(
