"The trip was meant to be a budget-friendly vacation with my elderly parents, and also a nostalgic trip because I used to come here when I was a kid. The first check-in process was done by computer/self-service, which was fine. I also paid extra for an upgraded newly remodeled room.
If you are looking for a budget place that works well for families with kids, then I would say you get what you pay for. My room was clean, but there was no “Do Not Disturb” sign. When I turned on the shower, water leaked out from the side of the shower head, and it was difficult to completely turn the water off.
The soundproofing was also not very good. You could easily hear kids talking and noise from outside the room. If I had known about these issues beforehand, I probably would have paid more to stay at a different hotel.
However, if you are traveling with kids or trying to stay within a lower budget, this hotel can still work. I only stayed one night as part of my travel plans."
