โHad an absolutely fabulous week at the Parson Woodforde. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming and a credit to Mark and Maria :) The food was incredible, all local produce with lovely fresh seafood specials and all very well seasoned! The roast on Sunday was one of the best Iโve ever had and we were made to feel very welcome and given loads of useful local information, nothing was too much trouble and the rooms were immaculate. โSingle room for 1 night, a bit cosy but the price was unbeatable. Quiet, clean, comfy bed, good shower amenities, easy parking, polite staff, good wifi.
Only improvement I can suggest is to put a darker curtain as quite a bit of light goes through during summer.โ

โWe arrived later than planned and called ahead - this wasn't a problem. Room was clean, shower hot with great pressure, bed super comfy and breakfast was delicious (we'll definitely be back to dine for lunch or dinner!). Place is wonderfully done throughout and staff all kind and approachable. We could hear loud snoaring from the adjacent room (nothing some white noise can't drown out on our phones!) but we appreciate it's part of staying in an old characterful property. Great value for money...

โThis place is a hidden gem. Perfect overnight stay on the outskirts but very easy to get in and out of town.
Comfy clean airy light room.
Excellent food menu and tasty food.
