"We were allocated a very well maintained and decorated guest room which had an en-suite bathroom. The bathroom was impeccable and supplied with clean towels and toiletries. It was good to see that the shower had no mould or dirt in the corners which is often the case. We found the bed to be rather too small for two large adults and in future will ask for a larger bed. We found the mattress to be harder than we would have liked, but it was nevertheless comfortable. The breakfasts were magnificent. It seemed that nothing was off the menu if requested. Following each of our four breakfasts we set out each day completely satisfied. Parking is obviously an issue in that area as the only parking was on the street. The landlady issued us with a 4 day permit to display on the car. We were fortunate that we were able to find a parking space each evening. However; one can imagine that it not be so simple in the main holiday season. We found the staff to be welcoming and very helpful and would recommend this guest house to any of our friends."

"Room was spotless, towels were fresh. Breakfast was excellent, as were the staff on duty. Location is great with parking a bonus. Would highly recommend, and would definitely book here again."

"What an amazing little gem of a hotel. So quirky with its wonderful themed rooms. We stayed in the Saloon which was based on a room in a an old western saloon. The ensuite had the most amazing stand alone roll top bath which could have fitted 2 without any problem. There is a lounge with a small bar where you can get the most incredible choice of cocktails that I have ever seen. There are also wines beers and spirits available. This was very cozy and comfortable and we finished off our evenings there each night of our stay. The view from the hotel which is situated at the top of the cliffs overlooking both the harbour and Whitby Abbey in the distance is beautiful."

"Nice big rooms and bathroom although a bit dusty room 4 rear facing also used the cups and spoons to make coffee but they was not replaced with clean ones next morning and had to wash them in the bathroom sink (not ideal )lovely breakfast staff very helpful at breakfast ,close to the center parking exspensive if you cant get round the crescent with your scratch card that cost a couple of pounds its £11 a day even tho i have moaned about a couple of miner things i would stay again as it is an ideal location."
