"Staff excellent and professional very helpful couldn’t do enough for you The room was lovely room 410 but was a fair walk from lift would have been nice to have a bath but other than that it was lovely Food at the hotel was top notch everything you need for breakfast staff was excellent recommend this hotel and that’s why we always come back Shaun and Julie "

"We loved our stay here, it was so near to whitby centre. The room was good, a negative is no where to dry towels. We had to ask for more coffee and sugar, as we were staying three nights. We will recomnend a stay at Penny Hedge. Staff could not do enough for us , all very friendly and polite. We will come again now we know of the hotel . Caroline and Laura were helpful , we rang because we could not quite find your location on our sat nav. staff helped us on this matter and then found you quickley. kind regards to all at penny Hedge. "Lovely accommodation on 2 levels situated in the heart of Whitby, continental breakfast provided in room and staff were friendly and welcoming "

"Just ten mins walk to town centre, few minute walk to north sea seaside, location is lovely. The room is clean, the bed is comfy, the shower has high water pressure which is good for after walking all day. The only one thing is kettle doesn't clean, some water left there when I check-in."
