"Fantastic spot for our group of 4 friends, lovely location, and great value for money if no thrills required - not where you would take your partner for a romantic weekend, but for a lads trip, perfect. Small problem with shower temp adjustment but flagged and sure it would quickly be sorted (only stopped for one night)."

"A good inexpensive clean hotel that is able to offer reasonable provisions for family rooms. Helpful staff and a good child menu offer. The wait time for food with young children was a bit of a challenge but otherwise a pleasant stay. Great place to visit."

"The location of Broomfield is excellent, 5 minutes walk from the train and bus stations and the town centre. Our room was stunning, lots of space, immaculately clean and our hosts were very friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend a stay and if we're back in Whitby we will be booking in."

"We were in room one large, spacious and clean with a good view over harbour and bridge. Good shower over bath with rubber safety mat and instant hot water. Two wardrobes with enough coat hangers. A small fridge would be very beneficial in each room (only six rooms). Although a small fridge is located on landing between floors one and two with a carton of milk supplied by hotel, we found it out of date and starting to go off. A very good breakfast with very, very good service the ex-RN who served us couldn’t do enough to ensure we enjoyed our four nights stay. Thanks we will return. ********"
