โThis hotel is really special. Great Victorian ambiance. Amazing view of the abbey and bay. Do not expect TV but wifi is good. Loved the all antique decor. โ
โJust ten mins walk to town centre, few minute walk to north sea seaside, location is lovely. The room is clean, the bed is comfy, the shower has high water pressure which is good for after walking all day. The only one thing is kettle doesn't clean, some water left there when I check-in.โ
โThe Nutshell is a lovely little place, perfect for a stay in Whitby. Great location close to the harbour and town centre. Very clean and everything you need, hob, oven and all crockery and utensils. Nice feel to the place, makes you feel like youโre at the seaside. Great communication with the owners.

โWe stayed for 2 nights, met on arrival by our friendly hosts. Room was as described, clean and comfortable, tea and coffee and bottled water also available. Bathroom was clean and shower great with plenty of hot water. Breakfast room was spotlessly clean, it is clear the hosts take a lot of pride. โI didn't connect to the wifi do can't comment on that but the hotel is ifeally placed for the beach and shops but with quite a few steps and a slope down (there is a lift down to the sea front). Unfortunately, our room overlooked the car park but i imagine there are rooms that look out over the estuary and the piersโ

โAs a single traveller I felt very safe and comfortable in this very conveniently located apartment. Itโs quaint and had everything I needed a 2 night stay. Extra comfy bed. Whitby is absolutely lovely. The host Amarjit was extremely responsive and helpful with all my questions. I highly recommend this property โ
โAbsolutely lovely cottage, clean, cosy and in the perfect location.
We have had a great time. Very steep stairs inside the property and a fairly short bed so if you are super tall with mobility problems it might be difficult but for us it was perfect.โ
